Our services cover all claim categories. We dig deeper than anyone else, going beyond the basics to deliver optimal results, and we tailor our programs and services to meet your unique objectives.
We run several proprietary algorithms against the data to identify all potential duplicate/wrong payments. Our analysis goes deeper than most companies can do on their own. Furthermore, our extensive experience allows us to cut through the vast pool of potential hits, and identify only those items with the greatest likelihood of recovery.
We solicit statements from an agreed-upon list of suppliers, following up with anyone who has not responded to ensure compliance with our request. Statements are meticulously reviewed for all potential recoveries, allowing us to recover all available funds, and expose patterns that could lead to additional recoveries.
Many suppliers offer discounts for timely invoice payment. These discounts are not always readily identifiable within the client’s data. Some clients net them out or track them in a separate system. Some will reconcile these on a quarterly/annual basis. We collect and analyze all available data and review contracts to perform a thorough audit, identifying any earned discounts not captured.
Suppliers offer allowances (which reduce the net price) to promote their products or to encourage more purchasing. These allowances can take many forms including off invoice, billback, and scan, and require great knowledge of the industry and strong analytical skills to maximize recoveries. Our audit process allows us to capture hard-to-find recoveries in this area.
This is an area that is often overlooked. We review all freight expense including freight on invoice, UPS/FedEx and common carrier, both collect and prepaid. We verify these charges against the terms on your PO and also validate the amount billed. When routing instructions are provided to suppliers for collect shipments, we assure compliance to those instructions.
Suppliers change their prices frequently based upon contractual agreements, commodity influences, incentives, and for many other reasons. A thorough review of all data and contracts will identify potential price differences, which are then analyzed for validity.

All companies have contracts with various suppliers detailing pricing, terms, incentives, freight, and many other conditions. A detailed review of these contracts will identify potential areas for review.
Many suppliers offer incentives to achieve certain sales volume levels. The formulas to calculate the funds range from the simple to the very complex. These agreements need to be carefully analyzed to assure all earned accruals and rebates have been collected.
Each State requires companies to escheat (turn over) all stale checks that are a certain number of years old. Many of these stale checks are open for legitimate business reasons and should not be remitted to the State. We have been successful in helping our clients “save” these dollars.
Every company leases property; some more than others. When the total dollars involved become large, opportunities for overpayments arise. These overpayments include improper monthly payments due to lease changes, common area maintenance (CAM) charges in excess of your proportional share, and leasehold improvements that should be paid by the landlord.
On certain transactions, companies accrue sales tax or are billed on supplier invoices. Regulations differ among the states, and tax law can be complex, creating an environment for errors to occur. We have the expertise to identify those errors, helping you recover overpayments of sales taxes and prevent future overpayments.

“I just wanted to let you know how happy I was with the SAS team. Your service from start to finish has been exemplary and on a professional, knowledgeable, yet friendly level that far exceeds all other accounts payable recovery firms that I have dealt with. Your auditors worked independently while keeping us informed with weekly progress reports and they required very little involvement of our staff. The results of the audit speak for themselves, as you recovered more than double what our last audit firm found.” — CFO, Mid-Sized Manufacturer
